Lens and Extension Bellows Gallery
Adding an extension between camera and lens allows for a close focusing distance: macro photography. Longer extension brings greater magnification, but also less light passing through the lens and less depth of field. The extension can be achieved using rings with fixed lengths or bellows, which provide variable lengths.
The Novoflex Automatic Extension Bellows allows the transmission of aperture information (AI) from the lens to the camera. Here, I have used the 55mm and the 105mm lenses to get details on small objects. My next test will be the scales of the wings of a butterfly, coming soon.
