This month’s picture, a panorama made from merging 5 photos, is a classic fall image. It shows trees’ crowns of different colors. In the background, you have Billionaires’ Row, the tall buildings at the edge of Central Park that some people say ruined Manhattan’s skyline. The clouds are low, and the top apartments are hidden in the clouds. So much for a view from the penthouse!
I took this picture on Thanksgiving Day, from The Beresford, a building on Central Park West.

This December picture completes 15 years of publishing my Picture of the Month on my website! That’s a total of 180 pictures! I’m revisiting the images, standardizing their size, and sometimes making small post-production changes. After 15 years, I see some things slightly different than I did when I took the pictures 😊. To commemorate these 15 years, I’m working on a selection of the best pictures to share in a special essay in my website. I’ll keep you posted.
